Desert Southwest — Big Bend, Santa Fe & Arizona

15 images·Big Bend, TX · Santa Fe, NM · Castle Hot Springs, AZ·Limited Edition

Canyon light at golden hour, ancient Pueblo ruins carved into sandstone, turquoise oasis pools hidden in desert rock, and the vast emptiness of the Chihuahuan Desert. From the Rio Grande canyons of Big Bend National Park to the adobe streets of Santa Fe and the hot springs of Castle Hot Springs, Arizona — the American Southwest at its most elemental.

The Southwest is a landscape of scale, and it demands prints that match. Big Bend National Park alone covers more than eight hundred thousand acres along the Rio Grande, most of it empty in a way that is hard to photograph honestly — the temptation is to compress it, and the truth is in the space. Santa Fe and northern New Mexico bring the opposite problem: adobe, ruin, and street where the interest is in texture and light rather than distance.

West Texas landscapes from this collection are currently installed at large format in a Houston law office. Available as limited edition metal and acrylic face-mount prints, in sizes through sixty by ninety inches, for residential, corporate, and hospitality installations.
